Parks Commission


The Saugatuck Township Parks and Recreation Commission guides, shapes, and preserves the heritage of our natural areas for the purpose of play, exploration and appreciation.


Parks Commission meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month at the Township Hall, 5:00 pm.

Non-Motorized Trails


Saugatuck Township non-motorized trails run 2.37 miles along the corridor of Blue Star Highway and Holland Street connecting with neighboring Laketown Township and City of Saugatuck.

Township Parks & Plans


River Bluff Park – 27 acre park east of Blue Star Highway alongside Old Allegan Road. 
Tails ‘N’ Trails Dog Park – 5 acres dog enclosure on 134th Avenue.
Sundown Park – less than .25 acre street end park of 126th Avenue, south of washout on Lakeshore Drive
Blue Star Highway Memorial Veteran Parks – .25 acres roadside park along Blue Star Highway, South of Exit 41.
